Running Spring Farm Hunting Preserve & Inn is a Private Upland Bird Hunting Club for members and their guests. Here our members can enjoy the finest released upland bird hunting-chukar or quail. Our fields are planted specifically for upland bird hunting.
We are not an agricultural farm nor do we raise livestock. This farm is completely dedicated to upland bird hunting and the habitat necessary to make your hunt a memorable one. The Farm is under the guidance of a Missouri Department of Conservation Private Lands biologist to ensure long term productive habitat for upland birds and wildlife. Bird fields consist of food plots, warm season grasses, briers, plum thickets, weeds, brush piles and woodland areas. We also have two half acre ponds.
We are open 7 days a week!
Our hunt season runs from October 1 to December 31 and we are closed in January and February. We reopen during the month of March for large groups and corporate events. Our members can enjoy our three-stand clay target range, and our clubhouse for meetings and parties.
We also offer picnics, conference room, a bunk room and two elegant bedrooms with private decks for overnight or weekend stays. We have a pistol-rifle-archery range, satellite TV, and phones. You’ll find that Running Spring Farm Hunting Preserve & Inn is one of the finest members only upland bird hunting facilities in southwest Missouri. We are conveniently located about 30 miles north of Springfield, 9 miles from Ash Grove.
